Free supplier price checker
Catch every supplier cost change before it eats your margin.
Add your supplier’s old and new price lists. CostLatch matches them by SKU and shows every cost that went up, went down, appeared or disappeared.
Step 1 · Add your lists
Old list. New list. Same supplier.
Choose a file or paste straight from your spreadsheet. Nothing is uploaded, and reloading the page clears everything.
Old price list
Excel, OpenDocument, CSV or text, or drop it here.
New price list
Excel, OpenDocument, CSV or text, or drop it here.
Settings
CostLatch works these out from your lists; change them only if columns or prices look wrong.
Step 2 · Review
What changed
Rows that need a look come first, then price increases.
Your CSV
If your browser does not save the download, copy the CSV below into a text file and save it as costlatch-review.csv.
Sell price is the new cost ÷ (1 − margin), rounded up to the cent.
Scroll sideways to see every column.

How it works
From a supplier update to a checked price list
- Add both lists. Use files from the same supplier, or copy the tables straight out of Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Titles and notes above the table are fine.
- Check the matched columns. CostLatch finds the SKU and cost columns itself and tells you which ones it picked. Change them if it guessed wrong, and add the pack and currency columns when your lists have them.
- Look at flagged rows first. A duplicate SKU, a changed pack size or a price it can’t read is flagged for you to check, never guessed.
- Download the report. Every SKU with its old and new cost, the change and a sell price at your margin, as Excel or CSV. CostLatch never changes your store or catalog.

Margin is not markup
At an $11 cost, a 30% markup sells for $14.30. A 30% gross margin needs $11 ÷ 0.70, which rounds up to $15.72.
Try the example lists
They include a price rise, a price drop, an unchanged item, a new item, a missing item, a changed pack size and a duplicate SKU. Use “Load example” above, or download them.
Fictional data, free to reuse. Don’t import it into a real catalog.

Share feedbackWhich files work?
Excel (.xlsx), OpenDocument (.ods), CSV and tab-separated text, or a copy and paste from any spreadsheet. Older .xls and Numbers files need saving as .xlsx first. PDFs can’t be read.
My supplier sent one sheet with old and new prices
Add the same file on both sides. CostLatch picks the old price column for the old list and the new one for the new list; use Change columns if it picks wrong.
Does it match different suppliers?
No. It matches exact SKUs, so both lists need the same supplier’s codes. It doesn’t match by product name or convert currencies.
Where do my files go?
Nowhere. They’re read in this browser tab and cleared when you reload. Optional analytics counts visits and actions, never your files, SKUs or prices.
Can it change my store prices?
No. You get a report, and you decide what to change in your own system.
